Barbadian communities need a practical vision far more than a political one. They want to promote their own futures and stabilise their own economies. They want to wake up in the morning and, in an otherwise bright and sunny land, feel bright and sunny in their spirits. They want to feel immensely proud of their country, their lives, and their achievements. They want to love where they live.
BARBADOS is a fantastic country. It is attempting to recover from many years of under or no investment. Since the 2008 global financial crisis this has become much harder. All across the Island Barbadians are facing significant economic and, as a consequence, social challenges.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Our children and young people are, and need to be, a part of the future of Barbados and yet, if the reports are to be believed, they face a 35% unemployment rate and the prospect of a country in massive debt for many years to come. These young people are looking outside of their homeland for their futures yet, whilst teachers are fighting hard to provide quality education, they lose valuable teaching time because of out-dated and dilapidated teaching facilities. A large part of the school estate needs rebuilding when there's no money in the bank.

We aim to be part of the solution to inspire Barbados. We want to offer practical solutions, for example - representing claimants in employment tribunals | offering educational transformation | relief from being locked in poverty | reducing the effects of our cost of living | finding ways of increasing job opportunities | inspring a culture of training and self-improvement.
It won't be easy but we have to try.
If we can develop our local community space to make lifelong learning the heart of community; with buildings that inspire and facilitate personal vision, social spaces that inspires community cohesion and facilities that offer a platform for growth and make Barbados the word on everyone's lips...
...then we believe the results will inspire this generation to inspire the next generation!
